Pauluskirche

The Pauluskirche's (St Paul's Church) copper-clad steeple, measuring 86.5-metre-high, can be seen for miles around. Built in 1901, the church perfectly embodies the transition between traditional church construction and the modern ecclesiastical architecture of the early 20th century, as German neo-Gothic elements are paired with decorative Art Nouveau fixtures.

The church, itself, was constructed using Ullersdorf terracotta bricks, and its façade is decorated with a number of fascinating, industrially manufactured ornamental pieces. Inside the church, stained-glass windows in the chancel and along the nave are sure to impress any visitor.
