Retail trade

Zwickau's city centre is a place to shop, stroll and linger. As one of the six regional centres in the Free State of Saxony, the seat of various public and private administrations and courts and as a university city, the retail trade attracts visitors from a catchment area of over 480,000 inhabitants.

To support the retail trade, the City of Zwickau works together with numerous partners from politics and business. Together, the aim is to revitalise the inner city as a place to live, a service location, a place of culture and work and at the same time strengthen the retail trade.
