Playgrounds

The City of Zwickau maintains 81 public playgrounds in the city area. The facilities are mainly aimed at children up to the age of approx. 13 years, but leisure activities are also offered for young people.

The playgrounds are usually located away from traffic areas, so that the children can play to their heart's content and move around as safely as possible. Playing together strengthens social skills, trains physical and mental talents, increases self-confidence and can also be experienced across generations.

Below you will find a list of public playgrounds (in municipal administration) sorted by city districts. Here you will find information (German) about the size and the type of equipment. Due to wear and tear, safety-related defects and vandalism, these specifications might differ from the actual conditions.
